Just sitting there. Directly at the foot of the mighty north face of the Eiger. 1.800 metres of pure rock face. The highest in the Alps. The view sweeps to the right to Mönch and Jungfrau. And back again to the Eiger. Time seems to stand still. Suddenly a friendly voice: "Have you chosen anything yet?" You are sitting on the sun terrace of the mountain restaurant Kleine Scheidegg. Fits. Because mountain air makes you hungry.
The Bergrestaurant has started the 2018 season under new management. Not everything has changed, but a lot has improved. Still traditional, but combined with new ideas. The menu ranges from regional classics such as the original St. Gallen OLMA bratwurst with onion sauce and butter rösti to international specialities such as “The Pastrami” with beef rump from our smoker. All freshly prepared by our creative kitchen team, 365 days a year. Ä Guete!

For those who are a little hungry and very thirsty: in our outdoor stations, there are bratwurst, burgers, nuggets, fries, sandwiches, wood-fired pizza, desserts and drinks of all kinds. But be careful: the atmosphere is especially good in winter. And many who only meant to pop in end up staying longer…
